Career Resources

TCU Computer Science graduates launch their careers in Dallas-Fort Worth, one of the country's largest and fastest-growing tech markets. Our students benefit from industry connections, career services, and an active alumni network that help them land internships and full-time roles.

For Students

Department Opportunities Emails

Throughout the semester, the department forwards internship and job opportunities from recruiters and industry partners to all students by email. Look for [CS Opportunity] in the subject line — set up a filter or flag for it so these never slip past in your TCU inbox.

Turn on Handshake Notifications

TCU uses Handshake as its primary platform for job and internship postings. Many recruiters post opportunities there directly. Make sure your profile is complete and notifications are turned on so you see new postings as soon as they go live.

Engineering and Technology Career Fair

Each September, the TCU Career Center hosts the Engineering and Technology Fair for students in Computer Science, Engineering, and related fields — a chance to meet employers face-to-face about internships and full-time roles. Watch for announcements at the start of the fall semester.

Join the Alumni and Student Network

The TCU Computer Science Alumni & Students Network on LinkedIn is the department's hub for job and internship postings. Alumni regularly share opportunities from their companies. Every current student should join.

For Employers and Recruiters

We welcome employers looking to connect with our students for internships, co-ops, and full-time roles. Several ways to reach them:

Share an Opportunity with Our Students

The department chair periodically emails job and internship announcements to all Computer Science students. To have yours included, send the following — formatted so it can be forwarded directly to students:

  • Company name and website

  • Position title (internship, co-op, or full-time)

  • Location and work arrangement (onsite, hybrid, or remote)

  • Brief description of the role and responsibilities

  • Qualifications and requirements

  • How to apply (link or instructions)

  • Application deadline

Send your ready-to-forward posting to: computerscience@tcu.edu

Please start your subject line with [CS Opportunity] so we can route and forward it quickly — for example, [CS Opportunity] Software Engineering Intern — Acme Corp.

Attend the Engineering and Technology Career Fair

The TCU Career Center hosts the Engineering and Technology Fair each September, bringing together employers and students from Computer Science and Engineering. Registration is handled through the TCU Career Center:
